So alot of people say I look like Santana from Glee, a.k.a Naya Rivera. If I did, I wouldn't wear makeup haa! So heres how to look like her. I will be doing a vid on my channel .. Such a babe!!
1. Costume:
- This I ordered off ebay for about $60 N.Z dollars. It pretty average quality, but will still do! If you're a die-hard Glee cheerio fan, then you invest in the one with the actual pleated skirt .. but I wanted to get the official one from the glee site. About $250 N.Z dollars I believe .. eek. Pretending your a cheerleader, cool! haha
- Or you could make it yourself. A few have, but I'm no sewing machine. I'll get my younger sister who is a fashion designer to!
- Or you could order one like this from America, same pattern and colour, adding the WMHS logo onto it ..
2. Hair: she has silky black. So dye your hair or use a wig. Blonde would be a Brittany or Quinn.
Hair style: Wave your hair using my 'Hollywood wave' tutorial blog. Volumise with a curler the roots on the top of your head (just leave the curling tong underneath the roots) or backcomb a little to form a quiff. Comb the top of your hair a little high, then secure with a black, then red hair tie. You could even pop in a red bow. But you'll look like a N.Z private school girl (sad, but true).
Spray with a shine hairspray, she has such glossy/ slick hair.
3. Makeup: Very neutral. Her lips are a rosy nude. Or even a bright red. Very volumptious lips. She doesn't really wear much eyeshadow, but I'd go for a matte/shimmery brown such as satin taupe and then a highlight in the innercorner of the eye and under the brow. Focus however on the eyeliner: liquid or gel on the top and pencil the full way on the bottom. She has very slanted, but small eyes. Thick false lashes are a must!
Face makeup: Tawny/ olive/ tan/ medium beige coloured foundation. Focus on the contouring, she has such sharp features! Top of the temples (above eyebrows), under cheekbones, jawbone and sides of bone of your nose: add a matte bronzer. A little peach blush on the cheeks, super cute!
