1. Outfit: I wore this in Autumn. Reds, oranges, dark teals are in! I am wearing a red cardy from glassons and a simple black cammy. I paired this with dark jeans (washed doesn't look great with red). Red is such a bold and attractive colour :)
2. Makeup: I'm not actually wearing any foundation, powder, bronzer, concealer etc. I am wearing eyeliner, mascara and elf sunset eyeshadow (perfect for Autumn!). But most importantly I am wearing Revlon's Coral. So pretty! It would more suit lighter coloured skin tones though.
3. Now for the hair.
- So first of all you want to curl from a little half way of your hair length. Do not do the top, this makes it seem unnatural and boofy.
- I used a straightner, you can use what you have. Starting half way, place the heat tool on your hair.
- Twirl 180 degrees towards your head, then pull the tool through your hair to the bottom. Important: As you pull your tool down the hair, roll the tool around slowly.
Tip: it is important to go slowly to define the curl.
- When you get to the bottom, don't release, wind the tool back up to half way and hold it there for at least 5 seconds.
Tip: Make sure at all times to angle the tool horizontally (not diagonally this time)
- Let the curl loosely fall and wrap in rollers, preferably medium sized one. I got 12 I think for $3.00 at the asian store between albert park and queen st. I think its on Victoria street??
- Do this all around hair. Leave for at least thirty minutes to set and cool.
- Spray head with hair spray and release.
- Brush ends slightly if curl is tight and to achieve that beautiful, natural look.
Tip: I always use a serum, Garnier Fructis works for me!
